Justice For The Voiceless

There is a group of individuals that have suffered more injustice than any others.

With all the self-righteous social justice crusaders out there fighting for justice, why isn't there a national outcry over the hundreds of thousands of the unborn that were slaughtered in abortion mills last year? Where are all the mainstream media outlets that say they want to give a voice to the voiceless? Where are all the politicians who went to Capitol Hill "for the right reasons"? According to Guttmacher Institute, there were over 800,000 abortions performed in the United States in 2017. Since 1973 approximately 62 million children have been executed through abortion for acts they did not commit.

This vile atrocity must stop. This is not a political issue. These are the lives of human beings that should be protected under our constitution. They should have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We have become a terribly calloused people worse than any Nazi in the concentration camps. The torture, dismemberment, and plethora of other ways that these precious, innocent children are killed are beyond horrific and sickening. The abortionists are worse than Manson, Dahmer, or Bundy.

We have adjusted to the darkness in our society to the point that nothing shocks or disturbs us to the point of moving us to action. How many of us pray for these situations every day? How many of us sigh and cry over these horrible, horrific acts of murder? Church, I think we get offended when preachers tell us we need to humble ourselves, pray, seek God's face, and turn from our wicked ways. Wicked ways? We think to ourselves, I am a pretty good person, so why is this preacher saying I need to turn from my wicked ways? When we can just go on about our normal everyday lives, and none of these things move us, we have gotten accustomed to the darkness. Some folks have gone as far as to embrace the darkness and overlook it because it is lumped together with their other political views. We need a shaking in the Church to get us out of our self-sufficiency and self-centeredness and on our knees before a Holy, Just, and Merciful God.

I am praying that God will keep this before me and place upon my heart the burden for these unborn children that will move me to effectual and fervent prayer. This is the worst of the sins of America, and yet it is protected, covered up, and ignored every day. God have mercy and awaken Your Church in America, please!
